Parent Wellbeing - Macramé workshop

Details

Our parent/carer wellbeing sessions are a gentle space to pause, breathe, and connect with others who truly get it. Each month we come together for a relaxed activity, a chat, and a chance to step out of the daily whirlwind in a way that feels safe, informal, and welcoming.

This month we’re having our first experience of making a Macramé feather.

Macrame is a crafting technique that uses knots in cording, threading, yarn, or textiles to create various objects. The workshop will be led by a skilled crafter who will guide us with step by step instructions on making the feather using some 5mm macramé cords which will be available in various colours; you will learn how to do the basic macramé knots required to make the feather.

The session offers the rare chance parent / carers get to fully switch off. No talking, planning or decision making necessary!

Please note no children will be able to attend these sessions

THERE IS A MINUMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED FOR THIS SESSION TO GO AHEAD
