Bring a project you need help with or just come to have fun working with your fellow makers. If you are new to machine sewing and your project requires it we recommend (but don’t require) a machine intro class first
What we do:
What to bring:
Your project
We are a new space and don’t yet have a broad stock of materials (specialty thread & notions, specialty tools, material for patching, etc). However if you text with a description of your project we may be able to bring in what you need. Please make your request at least two days advance.
How to find the class:
1736 18th St in Potrero Hill
Please be on time so you don't miss anything, but if you will be late the front door may be locked. Knock loudly
Please text 718-496-5468 if you need to cancel so we can open up the spot to others
We welcome your class requests. As a new making space we would love to hear what subjects you are interested in. Our instructors have experience in areas like machine knitting, corsetry, sewing machine maintenance and repair, embroidery, screenprinting, pattern making and draping, machine rug tufting, leatherwork, 3D printing, laser-cutting, woodworking, electronics, and many more
