Details

Learn domestic sewing machine basics, including how to set up the machine and operate it. You may bring your own machine or use ours. The class covers threading, basic maintenance and troubleshooting, types of stitches and some thread basics.

Our Sewing 101 classes usually have a waitlist, so if you are unable to attend we ask that you cancel so that someone else can come to the class. Please cancel even if it is last minute.

Instructions

We provide sewing machines for the class. If you would like to learn how to use your specific model, bring it along. The instructor might still have you use the provided machine for the bulk of the class for efficiency since each machine can be a little different.
