A unique chance to go sheep trekking in the Brecon Beacons National Park! Choose your sheep from our friendly flock to take on a picturesque trek towards the Black Mountain with scenic views of Pen-Y-Fan and the Beacons. Each sheep is fitted with its own little halter and he will lead you and retrace the footsteps of the drovers of the past hen making your way back to the farm. It really is a chance to get up close and personal to sheep and a chance to get your #SheepSelfie on point.
Our Autumn/Winter walks are following a slightly different route. Due to the wonderful unpredictable Welsh weather and muddy ground we are not able to walk in all the normal sheep walking fields.
Undated vouchers can be bought and then redeemed by the recipients.
All people attending the trek require a ticket.
Children age 3 and under are FREE
If you would like to attend without a sheep then you will require a spectator ticket
If you need accommodation, you can book one of the lovely Aberhyddnant farm cottages.

Please wear sturdy footwear as the terrain can be very wet and does involve crossing small streams and walking through long grass. Walking shoes or wellies are good. It is advisable to bring a spare set of shoes to keep in the car in case your feet get wet.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Young children under 10 (unless previously discussed) will share an adults sheep. Children under the age of 3 are free.
Please note their are very friendly dogs at the farm that may come out to greet you. They can by very noisy but never aggressive. Your own dogs are sadly not welcome on the trek as they can increase the levels of stress for the sheep.
The experience is conducted in small groups so early booking is advisable.

Adult and Young child (age 4-10)
This ticket is for one child between 4-10 years and one adult to share one sheep. * Each child age 4-10 must attend with an adult at a 1:1 ratio. The adult will be given the sheep to handle and it is up to this adult to decide during the walk if the child is able to share leading their sheep under close supervision. You will get matched with one of our friendly sheep who will lead you on a walk around our 220 acre farm.

Spectator
This ticket is for anyone wishing to join the walk as a spectator. You will not be given a sheep to walk but can enjoy the experience with others and can have a small food pack if you wish to feed the sheep.
