Learn to Sail by booking onto one of Wembley Sailing Club’s adult weekend courses.
Working towards RYA Level 2, this course teaches sailors everything they need to know to launch, rig and sail a dinghy independently in all directions.
Assumed knowledge: Can sail to the standard of RYA Level 1 Sailing.
Course content: Rigging, launching and recovery, sailing techniques, capsize recovery and sailing theory. Launching and returning to a beach, jetty or mooring, double-handed capsize recovery, man-overboard recovery and sailing a crewed dinghy around a triangle course in moderate conditions.
All courses run from 09:30 to 16:30.
