Town Square Chats: Visibility

Details

Share (in)expertise and experience.

Town Square Chats give space to dance artists, art workers and SDS staff to get stuck into the details of how to continue making and moving. Sessions happen every other month and focus on topics specific to artistic practice, with space to share skills, strategies and reflections.

The theme for this chat: Visibility

  • How visible does an artistic practice need to be?
  • How much of a social media presence does one need to have?
  • Is there a value to work being seen?
  • What types of practices might be invisible? Are you making or doing work that is less visible?
  • Am I still an artist if my work isn’t public?
