A 3 hour workshop dedicated to teaching you the skills to move into this incredible backbend posture. We will be working with strengthening the back of the body, the arms and the shoulders to support you in this posture. As always we will be working with props and various stages to move towards Chakrasana.
Ideally you will already be practicing yoga, as some of the stretches are intense, but you do not need to have done the final posture before.
All the stretches and stages will be beneficial regardless of your ability and we remind ourselves to enjoy the journey rather than focusing solely on the end goal.
The workshop will include a 20-30 minute coffee/tea and snack break (all provided). Please advise of any allergies when booking.
Please bring your own mat, any yoga props (blocks & belts) you may already have, a blanket for relaxation and a drink.
Yoga equipment such as blocks and belts are available to borrow should you not have your own.
Wear comfortable, loose fitting or exercise clothing and bring warm clothes (socks, jumper) for the relaxation part of the end of our session. You might also choose to bring a blanket to use during relaxation.
