On behalf of Southend YMCA, we would like to invite you to our 1st ball taking place on 16th November 2024 at The Lawn https://www.thelawn.co.uk/ - A beautiful Georgian Manor house surrounded by landscaped gardens set in rolling park land.
Join us for a memorable evening with friends, family, or colleagues and help support young people in your community! You can book a table for individual tickets at £110 or table of 10 for £1,000. The event includes live entertainment, a drinks reception, and a three-course meal with wine, set in a stunning 17th-century country house. Invoices for companies are available upon request.
Your participation will directly contribute to Southend YMCA's mission to tackle youth homelessness, build our youth community work and development, family health and wellbeing and social responsibility in our community. Together, we can make a lasting difference to local lives.
Last year alone, the impact we have had in the local community has been huge, our Newlands housing project has provided a remarkable 12,775 nights of accommodation, directly impacting the lives of young people in our community. For many, this shelter has been a critical lifeline, offering not just a place to stay, but a foundation for a brighter future.
Our youth and community projects including: All in Music, Find Your Voice and Mental Health Champions engaged with over 11,500 children and young people across various initiatives and provided 100s of community outreach sessions, fostering connection and support. These efforts have strengthened our impact to families and the next generation, providing vital resources and opportunities for youth development.
Our family, health & wellbeing projects including Bump to Breast and Envelop Mentoring, have had a significant positive impact on our community directly supporting over 650 young children, individuals, and families whilst over 5,250+ parents, siblings, teachers, and community members have been indirectly supported through our initiatives. Together, these efforts contribute to a stronger, healthier city, nurturing the next generation and empowering families every step of the way.
