Samhain – Journey to the West: Honouring the Ancestors
As the veil thins at Samhain, we gather in sacred circle to honour those who walked before us.
Together, within the protection of the Medicine Wheel, we will journey to the West — the realm of the ancestors, the setting sun, the great mystery.
The Evening Includes:
•Opening ceremony to create our ancestral altar - each person is invited to place an item or offering for their lineage.
•Gentle breathwork and guided meditation to ground and open the heart.
•A shamanic drum journey to the West, where we meet and receive wisdom from our ancestors.
•Reflection and optional sharing, where you can choose and oracle card and connect with group.
•Closing of the circle and the Medicine Wheel.
This is a time for remembrance, release and renewal - a sacred space to connect with your roots, honour your lineage, and receive the blessings of those who walk beside you in spirit.
All are welcome in this circle of light and shadow, held with love, reverence and the rhythm of the drum.
Come as you are, with an open heart - to remember, to honour, and to journey home to the wisdom of your ancestors.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session to allow time to settle in and get comfortable.
Unfortunately, any latecomers will not be permitted entry after the session has started, to minimise disruption.
What you need to bring:
A mat and eye pillow will be provided for you and laid out for your arrival, however please bring the following with you:
~Pillow
~Blanket
~Water
Please wear comfy clothes and feel free to bring anything else you may need to help you to feel relaxed and at ease. You will need to take your shoes off so if you’re wearing sliders/flip flops, it would be an idea to bring some socks to ensure you’re nice and cosy.
Please avoid consuming any alcohol prior to the session.
*Do let me know if you are unable to lay down and we can accommodate you in a chair. You will still receive the healing just the same as everyone else.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately, no refunds for latecomers or non-attendees. If cancellation is prior to 72 hours of the event, you will have the opportunity to transfer your place to the next available session. Please note that places can only be transferred once.
