Details

By Julia Donaldson (author of The Gruffalo) and Sara Ogilvie. Adapted by Tessa Bide Productions. Suitable for ages 3-7, but the whole family are welcome.

When the books at Nell’s owner Peter’s school disappeared one morning, Detective Dog Nell is ready to sniff out the culprit!

Featuring captivating puppetry, surprising smells and toe-tapping live music, this unique and engaging theatrical experience celebrates libraries, books and the magic of reading.

Enjoy this lovely performance in our baby-friendly theatre space, where crying, crawling and feeding are expected and welcomed. Suitable for ages 3+

Instructions

Tickets to our performance events this summer are sold on a pay-what-you-can donation basis. We suggest a donation of £5, but you can pay more or less.

What does this mean?

For everyone who wants to come to the show, adults and children alike, you pay at least £1 donation. This can be paid in advance to book ahead or when you arrive for the show. We offer a suggestion of £5, as this helps us to cover the costs, but we still want everyone to be able to come and experience our live performances, and we know that £5 per person can add up for bigger families!

If you can't pay £5, we would still like you to come and enjoy events.

If you can afford more than £5 - maybe £8 or £10 each, then your donation is greatly appreciated and helps us invest more into our not-for-profit space.

We believe that performance, music and art should be for everyone, and all families deserve time together to enjoy stories and be creative, so please come along no matter what you're able to donate.
