Everyone feels anxious prior to a DHS licensing review! However, there are many things a provider can do to reduce that anxiety and prepare for the review long before receiving the Notice of Reinspection (NOR). What can reduce this stress? In this class, we will provide five strategies you can implement every day to ensure you feel confident when it’s your turn for a licensing visit. From compliant, person-centered documents to effective staff training, we will provide practical steps help set you up for success.

  • Learn the 5 key strategies to ensure compliance
  • Recognize resources to gain information on compliance and regulations
  • Learn the importance of "speaking" the jargon including abbreviations
  • Discover ways to stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements
  • Determine the practices that go "above and beyond" basic compliance requirements
