This class is ideal for new 245D providers or managers who have little to no previous experience, or for those wanting a foundational level course on 245D services and the field of disabilities. During this course, we will explore many topics including terminology, statutes and regulations, waiver information, the purpose of licensure, your roles and responsibilities according to state regulations, and much more!
Course Objectives:
Though specifically geared to new providers or those who have limited experience in the field, long term human service professionals can also benefit from the information as a refresher.
Audience: License holders, or Designated Coordinators and Designated Managers who are seeking to understand the foundations of home and community-based services.
CEU Contact Hours: 1.8 for Nurses, 1.5 for Social Workers
Registered participants will have access to the session recording for two weeks following the training.
