Are you curious to learn about natural dyeing and how to use sustainable methods to dye your
clothes and accessories?
In this short, taster workshop, dyeing expert Debbie Tomkies will introduce you to the fascinating
world of natural dyeing. You will learn about our native dye plants, plants you can grow in your
garden and how to use them. There will also be the opportunity to explore natural dyes from around
the world to extend your rainbow of colours.
During the session Debbie will show you a range of easy, fun techniques and you’ll dye your own,
handy reusable tote bag to take home. You’ll also have the skills to dye, upcycle and refresh your
own garments at home!
