Outdoor pre-school sessions in our magical, private woodland at Rosley.
Parents, carers and children have opportunities to explore, create and learn together whilst having fun and making friends.
All sessions include circle time with songs, hot chocolate and a snack, led activities, as well as plenty of ‘flow time’ to experience our woodland, complete crafts and learn and develop skills.
Based on the Forest School ethos, our sessions can benefit children by:
Building self-esteem and independence
Enhancing emotional well being
Developing language and communication skills
Promoting a love of learning
Our car park is on the B5305 (Wigton to Penrith Road), in Rosley. Directions and an interactive map can be found on the 'contact us' page of our website.
On arrival, please walk down the ramp to meet Claire or Julian, who will sign you in for your session.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the season and current weather, e.g. waterproofs and many layers if wet and cold.
