A bit about me, and how I came to start Strong Mutha...

I’m Lou, personal trainer specialising in Ante & Postnatal Fitness and Mutha to two little girls with a close age gap of 19 months.

Having worked as a personal trainer in a central Brighton gym for a few years, I soon felt that working with women in order to make them feel empowered and confident using weights was the path I wanted to take. With a few clients that were looking to get pregnant at some point, I decided that studying the Ante & Post Natal qualification would be great in order to guide them through exercising safely through the trimesters, and to gently ease them into post natal exercise, often with baby in tow..
Since then I have never looked back, and on moving to Worthing in 2019, decided to set up classes where all new mums could feel welcome, supported and train safely with babies along with them!
