Nourish yourself at this monthly class with a focus on relaxation. Restorative Yoga session involves conscious, deep rest. It is a quietening practice in which the body is fully supported, using props, in positions for ease and comfort, with external stimulation removed so the mind becomes still and calm, and the body can repair, heal and rejuvenate.
Pranayama is the word for yoga breathing techniques. These practices can help to reduce your stress levels and lower blood pressure. Breathing deeply sends a message to your brain to calm down, which then translates to your body – a simple and highly effective way to create a feeling of serenity and peace.
These sessions are for everyone. They complement more active classes and are an excellent way to care for yourself if you are feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed.
