HSE South Suicide Prevention Training and Education Programmes

About Training:
The HSE South, together with a host of community partners, offers FREE training to individuals and groups who are interested in learning skills that will contribute to reducing incidents of self-harm and suicide in our community.

To Access Support: If you are experiencing distress or worried about someone else in your life that you think needs support as they may be vulnerable, please note that the following supports are available to you:

Samaritans volunteers can be contacted on: Freephone 116 123 at anytime of the day or night and by Text 087 2 60 90 90 (standard text rates apply)

You can also contact your own G.P. or South Doc which is an Out Of Hours GP service: please phone: 0818 355999 or go your nearest Emergency Dept.

Suicide Bereavement Support:
If you have been bereaved by suicide or are affected by someone who has taken their own life, support is available for you through a partnership between the HSE South and Pieta Services via a free-phone 24/7 helpline 1800 247247 or visit www.pieta.ie Pieta Cork: Tel no: 021 4341400
