Surrey Gardens Trust Summer Party: Glory of the Garden

Join us for our Surrey Gardens Trust Summer Party, an opportunity to come together in the wonderful setting of the Serpentine Garden at West Horsley Place. PlayGC are a highly professional theatre group and have written a wonderful piece, perfect for a barmy sunny afternoon’s entertainment (but equally up to the task of raising the spirits on an inclement day!). Bring your friends and family, young and old for a picnic on the grass or however you like! The ticket will cover the garden hire and a modest PlayGC fee. All additional proceeds will be donated to the garden team at West Horsley Place to help them maintain this important historic garden.

Glory of the Garden is a glorious anthology of poetry, prose and songs, delivered by five versatile professional performers, on the theme of gardens and the gardeners who tend them. From Gertrude Jekyll to Pam Ayres, from An English Country Garden to The Secret Garden, from the lyrical to limericks, this is a flowerbed full of delights.
