Join us for an 8 week TOTAL Beginner Lyrical Contemporary course for people who are brand new to the style!
Over the 8 weeks, Alice will introduce you to some of the foundational steps we use in our Lyrical Contemporary class, bringing in the basics of ballet and contemporary technique. And introducing you to some foundational floorwork and travel exercises (sound scary - are actually SUPER fun!). You'll also learn a range of routines - some soft and graceful, some fiery and powerful - helping you develop your ability to pick up choreography AND giving you a chance to really throw your body about.
By the end of the course, you'll have the knowledge, skillset and confidence to join our Beg/Int classes!

Cancellation Policy
We can't refund cancellations for Individual sessions within the course. However, if you need to cancel the full course, as long as you do so at least 24hrs before the course is due to start, we can provide a full refund.

This is Bristol Grammar School Sports Hall in BS8 (near the triangle) - NOT the BGS Sports Grounds in Failand.

Search Google Maps for 'AE Dance (@ BGS Sports Centre)â
This will take you to Elmdale Rd, with lots of trees along one side.
You need to find a set of stairs leading up through the trees. Look out for the big pyramid on stilts â thatâs the entrance (see photo!).
Go up the stairs and enter the Sports Centre. Then turn right and follow the corridor around through the double doors.
Once youâre through the double doors, the dance studio it on your right. It's called the Graveny Room - enter! If you get to the squash courts youâve gone 5 steps too far!
Just be aware that the outside gates at the bottom of the steps don't open until 6pm, so don't panic if you arrive slightly early and they are locked, you are in the right place! Someone will open them at 6pm.

You can use the school car park, entrance via the top gate on Elton Road (please make sure you have removed your vehicle from the school carpark after classes by 9:15pm).
