Welcome to the Shamanic birthing workshop where I will guide you in creating your own Shamanic Drum.
• Spaces are limited to only 4 people(winter), 6 people (summer)
• To secure your spot, the deposit of £100 +VAT must be paid in full, allowing me to prepare everything for the workshop.
• The remaining payment of £150 can be paid by card on the day.
• We will aim to finish at 5 pm, but please leave us some buffer time in case the workshop finishes closer to 6 pm
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
• A fully guided Shamanic drum workshop
• Drum beater
• Drum card which explains how to care for your drum and what was customised
• A quick blessing ceremony at the end
• Snacks, tea, coffee, and water will be provided all day long, but please bring some food for lunch to share.
SHAMANIC DRUMMING
Shamanic drumming, as distinguished from other types of drumming, usually refers to the use of sustained, repetitive drumming rhythms. Shamanic drumming uses a repetitive rhythm that begins slowly and then gradually builds in intensity to a tempo of three to seven beats per second. The ascending tempo will induce light to deep trance states, and facilitate the shamanic techniques of journeying, shapeshifting, and divination. Ever since our ancestors beat on hollowed-out logs and stretched animal skins over wooden hoops, these instruments have been a major part of cultures.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ BELOW:
• We will gather at my place near Loch Meiklie surrounded by the beautiful nature around us. Weather permitting, we will be outside during the summer. Winter workshops are held inside the house. Please wear appropriate clothing: comfortable, waterproof and etc if needed.
• Please plan to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. The latest permitted arrival time is 10:00 AM; guests arriving after this time will not be able to participate in the workshop. We kindly request your punctuality, as the scheduled times are essential to the smooth running of the program. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to arriving on time
CANCELATIONS:
• To be eligible for a deposit refund, please contact me at least 7 days before the workshop. Adequate notice is essential to allow sufficient time to offer your space to another participant. If an unforeseen circumstance arises that is beyond your control, please inform me as soon as possible.

• Our drive is a bit rustic, but definitely manageable for most drivers. Just drive slowly, usually 1st gear on the steeper turns is the best way to get up the hill. Alternatively, you can leave your car at the car park near the church and take a 5min walk up the hill.
