The day begins at 10am, where I will welcome you into The Serenity Barn in the beautiful quiet corner of Bascote, near Southam. We will have a chance to settle, to find a place in the room where youâll be comfortable and to set up your ânestâ for the day. Weâll introduce ourselves very informally and get some idea of what our minds and bodies need right now.
The morning typically consist of daily practices that can nurture us for the particular season weâre in. Please be assured that the practices are suitable for anyone including complete beginners. We then break for our plant-based seasonal lunch. All dietary needs are catered for so please inform me upon booking.
In the afternoon we allow ourselves time for deeper nurturing, exploring a restorative / yin practice where postures are held for a longer time, giving us a chance to find space and ease around the joints and deeper connective tissues of the body. There follows an opportunity to have a sauna and/or reflect and rest in the meditation loft before we have a Yoga Nidra practice - deep relaxation
These afternoon practices will also be mindful of the season, looking at the elemental and energetic qualities of nature that inform what we might need in our bodies and our minds.
The barn has everything you could possibly need in terms of yoga props - you are very welcome to bring anything of your own, to ensure youâll stay comfortable throughout your practices. Please wear layers and bring swimwear/towel if youâre using the sauna.

From Long Itchington: Follow signs to Bascote, head along Bascote Road for about 1 mile. Drive past the Bascote village sign, and follow the road sharply round to the right, the Serenity Barn is first on the left
From Southam: via Welsh Road turn right at the cross roads towards Bascote, follow the road through the village and the Serenity Barn is on your right just before the sharp left hand bend.
From Leamington: via Ufton, once you have passed through Ufton, turn left into Bascote Heath (past Lister Wilder). Go straight over at the cross roads towards Bascote, follow the road through the village and the Serenity Barn is on your right just before the sharp left hand bend.
We are located on the roadside at the entrance of Bascote Chase.
Parking
Please park on the white gravel drive or alternatively on the roadside near the barn but not too close to the driveway (or beyond the apple tree as a rough guide). Please do not park on the grass verge in front of Bascote House.
On Arrival
Please enter through the large black gate and make your way to the side entrance door at the barn. Make yourself comfy in the waiting area, itâs time to relax âș
