Embrace the magic of autumn with our spellbinding Trick-or-Treat Trek - a Halloween-themed adventure that turns our woodlands into a living spooky storybook!
Equipped with a rustic map, we will navigate the wild paths of Baldersby Park to discover hidden, spooky landmarks. From the bubbling depths of The Witch's Kitchen to the high-stakes navigation of The Spider’s Lair, every stop brings a fresh adventure. Along the way, we will tackle active outdoor games, hands-on woodland crafts, and playful challenges…all may appear a bit tricky, but teamwork, perseverance and problem-solving will soon turn tricky into treats!
*Warm drinks and homemade snacks will be included.
What to bring info…
We can't wait to welcome you to Base Camp. To keep your child happy and dry in the woods, please send them with the following:
All seasons
Clothing: Long-sleeved tops and full-length trousers are required to protect against nettles, scratches, and ticks - tracksuit bottoms or leggings are perfect.
Think like an onion! Multiple thin layers (thermal, fleece, jacket) are better than one big coat.
Footwear:
Waterproof wellies or sturdy walking boots are essential. If it’s really dry, then old trainers will be ok too.
In Their Backpack:
A change of clothes (extra socks are a must!).
Waterproof jacket and trousers (even on dry days!).
A labelled water bottle, sun hat/sunscreen (summer), or warm hat/gloves (winter).
Packed Lunch (we provide drinks and snacks)
Top Tip: We love dirt! Please send your child in old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or snagged.
