Nestled in the Firth of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland, Arran is often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature" due to its diverse natural features. Upon arriving at the island, the salty breeze and breathtaking vistas will instantly welcome you. We'll settle into a well-established campsite for a restful night before taking on Arran's tallest peak the following morning.
Day 2: We'll embark on a challenging hike into Glen Rosa, a deep valley surrounded by towering peaks. Traverse through enchanting forests, babbling streams, and picturesque glens before ascending Goat Fell (874m), the island's highest peak. The summit rewards you with a panoramic view of Arran and its neighbouring isles.
Day 3: On the final day, bid farewell to the Isle of Arran, cherishing the memories of the walking adventure amidst its captivating landscapes. Depart with a heart full of experiences and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that Scotland's "Miniature" Isle has to offer.
We will start from Manchester, drive into Scotland for the Ferry to the Isle of Arran, we'll stay 2 nights camping.

Please note: Goat Fell is a large mountain, it is a challenging walk and a good level of fitness is required. (Similar to Ben Nevis) This hike is not for beginners.
What do I need to bring?
Try to pack these items into a maximum of two bags as the minibus may be full, things may get a little cramped. We have a max of 10 people for our 16-seat bus for comfort.
For the Weekend:

Swimwear if you want to brave the cold scottish waters
For the hike:
Backpack (20-40 litre max)
Waterproof Jacket and pants
Walking Boots/Shoes (trainers as last option)

For camping:
Cooker (We will bring a large cooker for everyone to save room)
