Brand new class! 8 weeks and includes reminder videos to keep and a unique, professional sound bath recording not available anywhere else A unique blend of Baby Massage and soothing Nurture Harmonic sound to give you and your baby space to enjoy each other and connect.
This class starts with Baby Massage and then moves into our sound bath designed especially for babies.
We explore different baby massage strokes each class which are followed up with a reminder video for you to keep.
The sound bath is professionally recorded and unique to this class and to the new, international Nurture Harmonics Movement led by Prema - a fully qualified Sound Therapist. It is specially made for babies, to stimulate their developing brain and soothe them, but is beneficial for you too. You will receive a copy of the sound bath to keep!
During the sound bath I will overlay gentle instruments like ocean drums and rainsticks, explaining the benefits of these sounds for you and your baby. At any time in the class you are welcome to feed and change your baby on the mat. You can also walk around gently bouncing your baby instead, especially during the sound bath, if they don't want to be still.
Crying in any class is normal and welcomed - baby's voices are important, including during the sound bath. At the end we will relax together over a cuppa.
Parent & Baby are usually on the floor.
Choose and bring a massage oil or cream (or simply massage your baby 'dry')
Please bring an exercise Mat and something soft for your baby to lie on
Bring a soft towel to place under your baby to mop up any excess massage oil
Consider bringing a favourite toy or 2
The room should be warm but babies don't need to be naked, you can simply uncover each body area in turn as the massage progresses
Babies often need feeds & changes during the class; crying in any class is normal and welcomed - baby's voices are important, including during the sound bath. Remember to bring any feeding or changing supplies you might need. You can feed & change in the room on your mat, or make use of the changing facilities.
