Level 2 to 4 School of Improv students who are currently attending have the opportunity to perform in short-form and/or long-form slots. We decide on the show structure and which slots you will play in nearer the time, based on what's emerged through the recent classes and which of those you have attended.
If you're a *Beginner (L1) and would like to participate in the show, book an audience ticket and you'll have the chance to take part in the open improv jam section if you would like to.
If it's your first time at this pub venue, there is no back stage. Players are allocated seats in the audience for easy access to the stage during your set/slots.
Tonight's showcase is PWYF, meaning it is free to book, and Pay What You Feel on the way out
We do this because we want people to be able to come along whatever their budget. Our showcases are unfunded and cost around £300 to put on, so any support really helps us keep them going. We recommend £10 but it depends on what you can afford. Even the price of a pint makes a difference.
Boho Arts is a registered charity, and every donation is reinvested into creating more opportunities for people to learn, perform and express themselves creatively.

DRESS CODE: Tonight is Halloween so it would be fun to dress dark, but please casual clothes that are comfortable and safe to perform in and can adapt to playing different situations and characters. Heavy boots, high heels, short skirts or clothes that could be revealing are a no-no. CALL TIME: 6.30 if you want a quick warm up before doors open at 7. Show 7.30-10pm

The venue is an old historic pub. Main access is through the front of the pub, then the snug on the right, and up the stairs at the rear. There is a ramp to the left-hand side of the building providing partial access for wheelchair users, but unfortunately, there are no wheelchair-accessible toilets in the building. The nearest wheelchair-accessible toilet is across the road in Morrisons which is open until 10pm.
