This is a great class for children ages 8 months to 2 years. With the gentle guidance of the teacher, the parent and baby will learn elementary skills such as safely getting in and out of the pool, havig the child float on their back, getting their face and hair wet, moving through the water, going under water, and blowing bubbles. Baby Otters is focused on bonding, building confidence, and introducing the infant/child to the pool enviornment through playful activities.
Feeling comfortable and safe in the water is the first step in learning how to swim.
NOTE: A parent (or adult) will participate in the class and must accompany the child in the water.
Children/infants must wear swim diapers.
Please download and complete the Release of Liability Form and bring it to the first day of class.
