Mindful Mountains - Watercolour and posca pen Children's holiday workshop - 7-13yrs (Omokoroa)

This workshop is a relaxing workshop designed to explore both water colour and posca acrylic paint pens in a calm and contemplative way.

The symbolism of the mountain is interpreted in many different ways throughout the world. Mauao here in Tauranga is rich in history and rich with myths and legends as well as the Papamoa hills and the Kamai ranges. Mountains are known to create a sense of awe and wonder, both when at the top and when gazing up. Mountains are often described metaphorically in relation to life "It's not the mountain we conquer but ourselves" (Sir Edmund Hillary)
