This is an opportunity for our Singing for
Wellbeing and Singing Mamas community members to book onto group singing lessons which will be held on a few select Wednesdays from 6:15pm – 7:45pm at the Studio1 at The Bluecoat.
These sessions will be led by singing teacher and music therapist, Jenny Capstick (also a Singing Mama and Singing For Wellbeing member), who will guide
you through an exploration of singing techniques.
Jenny has years of experience supporting adults and young people in learning about their singing voice and in finding how to make singing feel easy and accessible. In our sessions we will explore breathing and natural vocal sounds to support optimal singing which is different for everyone.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, try things out in groups, and absolutely no expectation to sing solo.
If you are wanting to find accessible ways to find your singing voice or learn more about what is going on in our bodies when we sing, please sign on and we will see you there.
No previous singing experience necessary, just a curiosity to explore your voice!
