Course: Beginners (Relaxed) - Light and Heavy Shoe 💛

This is an 12-week course for beginners. It's a friendly and supportive class for those with up to a few months' experience in Irish dancing!

Each class will cover both heavy and light dancing, so you can build your confidence with both types of Irish step dancing.

This is perfect for dancers who...
• Already have a bit of beginners Irish dance experience experience (<3 months)
• Are getting comfortable with the very basics of soft shoe dancing (threes, sevens, jumps, rise and grind)
• Are keen to learn some/continue learning some simple heavy shoe dancing
• Are confident in other dance styles and able to pick up steps quickly

Over the course of 12 weeks, we will be learning:

• Beginners Treble Reel
• Beginners Heavy Jig
• Beginners Reel
• Beginners Single Jig

We'll cover the 50/50 light and heavy shoe.

💃🏻 Your teacher will be Jessie Leach - certified Irish Dancer teacher with CLRG, former Riverdance cast member and former All-Ireland, Great Britain and North American champion of Irish Dance.
