These is an 11-week course for Improver-level Irish dancers with a 1 year's experience who want to keep learning Irish dancing in a fun and supportive environment!
Each class will cover both heavy and light dancing, so you can build your confidence with both!
This is perfect for dancers who are already confident with the basics of soft shoe dancing (threes, sevens, jumps, rise and grind) and already have around 6 month's experience with beginners heavy shoe (shuffles, bangs, basic treble reels, simple heavy jig).
Over the 11 weeks we'll be covering...
• St Patrick's Day Set Section
• Improvers Reel
• Treble reel rhythms, basics, technique and ceilis!
🕺 Taught by the brilliant Lauren Young, assisted by Mairead Clarke and Rachel Duggan.
🍻 This is a social and supportive class followed by a trip to the pub each week!
The 7pm and 8pm class will cover exactly the same material.
🗓️ This is available as a block course and a drop-in.
