We'll explore some of the core principles of lifting. Starting by focusing on the experience of lifting our own weight, and then moving on to some partner exercises with a focus on listening, consent and progressive weight sharing,
We'll make space for ease, synchronization and fluidity to arise, rather than chasing the attainment of specific external forms.

In our regular Friday class we continue our exploration of the practice of Contact Improvisation. Each week we have a theme to focus our practice which includes solo movement, moving meditations, partner and group exercises, games and also moments to check in with each other and reflect on the practice and our experience.
This class is always open to movers of all backgrounds and also those to whom a movement practice is new.
