Attendee Instructions
Protect your night vision: Please avoid white lights whenever possible. Use red flashlights or red headlamps and keep all lights pointed toward the ground.
Park considerately: Position your vehicle so headlights will not shine directly toward telescopes or astrophotography setups when arriving or departing.
Drive carefully: Use low beams when entering or leaving the observing area and move slowly through the parking area.
Be mindful of fellow observers: Keep unnecessary lights and phone screens dimmed, and avoid shining flashlights toward other observers or equipment.
Plan ahead: Bring everything you need for a comfortable evening outdoors, including water, warm layers, and any observing or photography equipment.
