Scurry Dog is a new and FUN sport based on working gun dog skills. It is made up of five fun games derived from different aspects of gun dog roles in the field, which have been adapted to place YOU at the centre of the FUN. So, if you have a dog with a busy nose, ears that don't work and way too much energy this might just be the right sport for you.
This taster session provides you and your dog with an opportunity to try three of the five games which make up the sport of Scurry Dog which are Retrieve, Scramble Grid, Nose Quest, Sniffit Trail and Every Day Dog.
Come along and have fun with your dog, no worries if your dog doesn't yet retrieve or isn't yet steady in the face of distractions, each game can be adjusted to your dogs current skill level, ensuring that you enjoy the day and each others company.
Please park respectfully acknowledging parking signs and neighbours driveways.
Please bring water, high value treats, non squeaky toy, poo bags.
The venue is outdoors, layers of clothing would be the best option to adjust for comfort, please wear sturdy walking shoes or boots for your safety.
Dogs that are well rested will learn more quickly and be best placed to enjoy the training games.
Please do not feed you dog within 2 hours prior to the Taster Session, adjusting the amount of food in their bowl to account for treats used.
