The Wave is a movement through the 5 Rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. A fractal movement medicine wheel in which all can move in all of the ways they are able. Maps to ecstasy. A technology of being. A toolkit for survival in a disembodied, spaced-out world.
Each Rhythms is as infinite as our own possibility. Dancing a Rhythm is never the same twice. Dancing a wave if never the same twice.
At most 5Rhythms classes we dance a wave, sometimes more than one.
Here we will dance wave on wave. Embodying whatever is moving us and whatever is moving through us. Expressing. Releasing. Delighting in the expansive landscapes that lie beyond release. Arriving in the dance beyond the dance. Beyone the illusion of separation. As One.
All that and we get to hang out with old friends and/or meet new ones.
Please bring:
Your curiosity and a commitment to move.
Your commitment to explore.
Your water bottle.
Food for yourself or to share.
A mug.
Your bare feet.
Friends (but only if they want to come - kidnapping is illegal and it probably isn't the best introduction to 5Rhythms).
Your kindness.
Whatever may be going on for you in the moment: it's your dance.
There will be a spacious break so bring a cup or mug and some food for yourself or to share for dinner (or lunch if you're from down south).

Entry by the conference centre doors to the right of the main building. Entrance to the hall itself is through the automatic doors, up the ramp and through the kitchen.
