Create your own on-trend lace bandeau or wrap cardigan in this hands-on two-day fashion workshop, working with beautiful stretch lace fabrics. These versatile pieces are perfect for layering, designed to grow with you and remain wearable as your style (and size) evolves.
Students will learn how to confidently sew stretch fabrics using:
Coverstitch machines for professional hems
Overlockers for clean, durable seams
A standard sewing machine for stretch construction techniques
Participants can choose between:
a double-layered version for warmth, comfort and durability, or
a single-layer sheer design, embracing the 2026 sheer and layering trend.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, with plenty of support, while more experienced students will be encouraged to refine fit, finish and construction to a higher level.
Nivå: Beginner Friendly, Mixed Ability
We provide all equipment and materials. You are also welcome to bring in your own fabrics. Goldhawk Road in Shepherds Bush is a great place to buy fabrics.
Please bring with you a bottle of water and a snack/light lunch.
