Here's a brief overview of what you can expect from the School Starters Programme 2026:
đ Our School Starters Programme is designed to help your child settle into school confidently, while offering you resources, ideas and a supportive community along the way.
đ I'll share insights into what your child's teacher would love them to be able to do before they start in September and help you achieve this with your child.
This 2-week intensive programme condenses our 4-week programme into 2 slightly longer sessions.
Each week, weâll build confidence through:
⨠following simple routines
⨠snack time and independence
⨠joining in and listening
⨠feeling comfortable in a group
All in a calm, familiar environment, with parents there for reassurance and support.
Whatâs included:
đ 2x 80-minute in-person sessions
đ small group (max 10 children)
đ weekly take-home ideas and activities
đ WhatsApp support throughout
đ school readiness guide
By the end of the programme, many children will:
⨠feel more confident in a group
⨠be familiar with simple routines
⨠enjoy joining in and taking part
⨠feel more comfortable with what school might be like
Youâll also come away with:
đ simple, realistic ideas to use at home
đ a clearer sense of what to expect in September
đ reassurance that your child is feeling more school-ready

Each week, I'll invite you to bring a fruit/veg snack as well as a water bottle. Your child will sit down to enjoy this with others in our group.
Please bring socks for you both: we're a shoe-free, sock-on venue.
