Join us for a family-friendly workshop designed to help you feel confident & sure of your next steps on your homeschooling journey.
Located in Loganholme, The Village Hub is easily accessible to families from Brisbane, Logan, Redlands & the Gold Coast.
Our all-in-one location means you can drop your kids off (4-13yo) for the kids play session, and head up to our coworking space for the parent's workshop. We'll also have a toddler space set up for your younger children, who are more than welcome to remain during the workshop.
Here's the program:
10-10.30am - Drop off kids, meet & greet, get a cuppa & morning tea.
10.30-11.30am - Deb talks on the different types of homeschooling, the journey to trusting ourselves and our children, and deschooling.
11.30-12.30pm - Cush talks on different curriculums, planning and reporting, what the QHE is looking to see, and how she supports families.
12.30pm-2pm - Lunch and Q&A.
2pm - Workshop concludes, pick up kids.
Included in ticket price: up to 2 kids aged 4-13yo access to the messy play session, morning tea & lunch for parents, workbook & follow-up support, workshop recording.
Please bring spare clothes, food & water for your children.
*We do not consider ourselves to be an allergy-free environment and have no control over food products brought into the hub.
Please bring swimsuit & towel if planning to use the pool or slip n slide.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with the workshop address & our intake form. Please complete the intake form for all children before the workshop.
