The Pythian Club Arts & Crafts program offers a creative and engaging space for children, young people, and adults to explore their artistic talents. Participants can take part in a variety of activities, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and DIY craft projects. The sessions are designed to encourage self-expression, build confidence, and develop practical skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Through arts and crafts, participants not only create beautiful and meaningful pieces but also improve focus, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Our program fosters creativity, inspires imagination, and provides an inclusive space where everyone can enjoy learning, experimenting, and expressing themselves through art.
Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive a few minutes before the session starts.
Check in with a volunteer or staff member upon arrival.
Materials & Preparation
All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint or glue on.
During the Session
Follow instructions from the facilitator and ask for help if needed.
Respect other participants’ space and creations.
Clean up your area after completing your project.
Health & Safety
Use materials safely and follow any guidance on tools or equipment.
Notify a staff member immediately if any accidents or injuries occur.
Behaviour & Conduct
Treat facilitators, volunteers, and fellow participants with respect.
Inappropriate behaviour may result in being asked to leave the session.
Taking Home Creations
You are welcome to take home your completed projects at the end of the session.
Any shared or communal materials should be returned to the designated area.

Heathfield Community Centre is based within Heathfield Park which is just off Ventnor Rise, a residential street and is not easily visible from the road.
To access the Centre, drive down the small road (between no 7 and no 9) and park within the park.
NOTE: parking within the grounds is essential as Ventnor Rise is residential parking ONLY.
