Calling all young people who would like to learn new skills!
Join Lisa from East London Waste Authority for a fun hands on workshop to celebrate Repair Week and the theme for this year's Women's History Month - 'Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future'.
In this workshop you’ll:
🔧 Dismantle a Pocket Light Microscope: and discover how it works on the inside.
🧩 Problem solve and work out what needs fixing.
🔍Work out which lens works best.
🛠️ Fix and Play: Once you’ve mastered the art of repair, you can play with the newly fixed microscope and discover what many different materials look close up.
The STEM workshop is suitable for young people aged 10+ and parents and guardians can support the young people during the workshop.
