Children's Lino Printing Christmas Cards Workshop

Join me, Pip, for a relaxed, creative workshop where you'll learn how to design, carve and print your very own lino cut Christmas cards to take home.

You'll be guided through the whole process, from developing a simple festive illustration and transferring your design onto lino, to safely carving your printing block and creating your first prints.

We'll then spend time experimenting with printing, exploring how different amounts of ink and pressure can create different results. You'll be able to print a selection of Christmas cards to take home and share with friends and family.

The best part? You get to keep your lino block, so you can continue printing your design at home and make as many cards as you'd like for Christmas!

No previous printmaking experience is necessary. I'll demonstrate each stage and provide plenty of guidance throughout the session. Whether you'd like to create a traditional Christmas design, something playful and quirky, or a completely unique festive illustration, you'll have the freedom to make it your own.

All lino, printing inks and materials
Guidance through designing and carving your lino
A selection of card and paper for printing
Your own set of handmade Christmas cards to take home
Your carved lino block, ready to use again at home

Duration: 3 hours
Suitable for: Children aged 8+
Drop off or parents/carers are free to stay and watch if they would like to. If you'd like to participate in this workshop alongside your child, please buy an extra ticket for yourself.
