Join us Saturday, April 25 10:00-11:30am for a morning of play for children ages 1-8+ and their caregivers to explore, create, and move together!
Led by a licensed pediatric Occupational Therapist, this event blends evidence-informed developmental supports with the wonder of child-led, nature-based play. Families will enjoy:
đż Nature Sensory Exploration
Hands-on invitations to dig, pour, build, gather, and discover. Children will use all their senses while engaging with natural materials that support self-regulation, fine motor skills, and imaginative thinking.
đ Seasonal Story + Group Movement Activity
A cozy nature read-aloud paired with playful whole-body movement to encourage coordination, rhythm, and social engagement. Perfect for warming up bodies and strengthening caregiver-child connection.
đš Earth DayâThemed Creative Crafts
Open-ended, nature-inspired art activities that spark creativity and celebrate fresh beginningsâlike wishing wands, nature crowns, or intention stones. Each craft is designed to promote fine motor skills and self-expression.
đ€ Caregiver + Child Connection
Intentional prompts and playful routines encourage mindful moments together, building confidence, communication, and co-regulation in the outdoors.
Come in your play clothes that you donât mind if they get dirty/wet! Our play groups are intentionally designed to allow our kids free reign to lead the play and allow them to explore the elements.
What to bring:
-Bring a change of clothes and towel (just in case!)
-Water bottle & snack if desired
-Weather appropriate apparel
We will meet Rain or Shine!! If the weather predicts rain on the day of our event, you will be updated with a change of location to provide a covered pavilion for our play day!
