Frankie from Peace of Mind Meditation and Amy from Willow Body Pilates have come together to offer a morning to Connect and reset.
We will explore connecting to ourselves with meditation, tapping into our current emotional state and exploring our needs and desires to connect to feelings we want to take forward into 2024.
Here is an outline of the day:
Frankie will guide you through a grounding meditation to begin with, to centre and calm the nervous system, helping you to feel present and focused for Pilates.
We will then move into a beginner's Mat Pilates class focusing on strengthening and lengthening the body, enabling it to move efficiently. Exercises focus on the core, whilst training the whole body.

Is it for me?
Because Pilates can be modified to provide either a gentle strength-training program or a challenging workout, this is suitable for all body types, regardless of prior experience or athletic ability. Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance moves.
Following pilates we will move into Intentions setting for 2024.
Break – herbal teas and cake offered.
We will then move into a High-Intensity pilates (HIPP) class. This is more dynamic than the everyday Pilates class, it is faster-paced and coordinates bigger ranges of movement.
HIPP Integrates primal movements such as bending, squatting, lunging, twisting, pulling, and pushing, placing a demand on the core, and encouraging all muscles to work together in a synchronized manner and to play their specific roles. This integrated movement helps to balance muscle strength with muscle relaxation; creating a balanced body that enjoys more efficient movement.
To make the exercises a little more challenging, we use two small weights. We use light weights so that movements are fluid.
We will conclude the Pilates with a blend of static and progressive full-body stretches.
We will then finish with a relaxing Body Scan Meditation
