'I Am Because You Are' is training course. produced by the Baptist Union, introducing equality and diversity for ministers. You can find out more about it by visiting the BU website here.
In each session we will watch one or two of the videos from the resource together, before having a time of discussion, reflection and sharing. The sessions will be led by Rev Dr Tim Judson, who is a member of the BU Racial Justice Hub and co-hosts the videos.
The course is available in hybrid format - you are welcome to join us on-site at the SWBA offices in Wonford, or online via Zoom. Zoom details will be sent out nearer the time.
There is no charge for the course. However, if you have received a CMD grant from your church and feel able to make a donation, you can do so by clicking here (suggested donation £15). This will help us to put on more events and training in the future.
If you have any questions about the course please get in touch with James Henley, our Learning Community Co-ordinator, at james@swbaptists.org.uk.
