Details
Swim technique, endurance and stroke improvement camp.
1 week training camp in the beautiful coastal location of Cesenatico, Italy.
Coached sea swim, pool sessions, technical coaching, CSS and stroke rate training to improve speed efficiency for open water swimmers/ triathletes. With Certified Swim Smooth Coach Fiona Ford.
Accommodation in twin share or double room.
Half board includes breakfast and dinner each day (lunch at own cost).
Single room supplement available if you prefer to have your own room (non-sharing) and limited balcony rooms are also on request for early bookings.
Option for a 5 or 6 day camp if preferred (see ticket options).
Program available on request.
Non-swimming partners welcome too! Please see non-swimming ticket, for accommodation, half board and access to any of the sessions as an observer/ supporter and to participate in non-swimming activities (stretching, nutrition talk, local tours).
Swim Camp in Italy with Certified Swim Smooth coach Fiona Ford
Fiona also:
- is a two-time Kona finisher 2007 and 2016
- achieved Ironman World Championship podium after a lengthy 4 year recovery from serious 'life changing' injuries while out on a training ride (see her published book 'Back On Track')
- competed as a Professional Ironman athlete for 4 years and consistently finished in the top ten overall (as an amateur before turning Pro, too)
- is a two-time Olympic distance Triathlon and Aquathlon World Championship winner 2006
- is a British Triathlon high performance coach and has been a full-time, professional coach since 2012
Instructions
Please arrange your flight and transfer to Hotel Beau Soleil, Cesenatico, Italy.
Nearby airports include Bologna, Rimini or Forli, with transfers by train or taxi to Cesenatico to arrive at the hotel at your own cost.
A kit list will be provided to assist your preparations for the range of sessions on offer each day, including open water swimming, coached pool training, individual swimming and mobility or land-based sessions.
3 x Instalment payments requests will be sent to you after booking your place. You will be required to pay a deposit, interim payment and remaining balance before the camp starts.
A booking form will be sent to complete your training and injury history and outline your goals or aspirations for your swimming this season!

Shared accommodation in double or twin room.Half board includes breakfast and dinner, lunch at own cost. Support and attend any of your partner's swimming, coached or complimentary sessions across the week. Hotel Beau Soleil is located by the sea and forest, in between the beautiful small towns of Cesena and Cesenatico.
