Melissa Murtagh has been deeply drawn to movement and expression from a young age.

Dance became her first love, providing a profound connection to her body and the world around her. As a professional dancer for many years, she developed a deep understanding of discipline, strength, and grace.

The ancient practice of yoga resonated with Melissa’s soul in a way that nothing else ever had. With her background in dance, she naturally gravitated toward the flowing, dynamic style of vinyasa yoga.

She completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training in India and has since been running her own community classes, teaching at Hot Pod Yoga and working with several other studios.
