A Wilder Ancholme Discovery Event
Lincolnshire and the Ancholme Valley has been inhabited since pre-Roman times and by a variety of civilisations since then, including Viking settlers and Anglo-Saxons. It is believed that you could walk the earth in its entirety and be unlikely to be the first person to see or walk in that place, but you can always explore under the earth’s surface. We have teamed up with Dr Kevin Leahy, a local archaeologist with a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring you our Big Backyard Dig.
