Tag Sports Community Interest Company is delighted to announce our first ever Women’s Tag Rugby tournament! Following our successful first year of coaching and development of women in the sport, this tournament will be a celebration of women in tag rugby and mark the start of our 2024 programmes where we hope to further our reach and impact with underrepresented groups in the sport.
We are being supported by our partners Try Tag Rugby to host the event at Kings House Sports Ground in Chiswick on Sunday 17th March 2024. Try Tag Rugby will provide event staff, referees and operational sport to ensure our tournaments mirror the standards of their own.
We want this tournament to be a celebration of women's sport, and look forward to it being played in the spirit that we have seen from all the women involved with us since we started delivering our programmes in summer 2023.
Tournament Info:
7-a-side with a maximum of 12 in a squad
Games will take place between 12:30 & 17:30 - followed by a presentation and celebration
Food and bar available on site - bar open until 10pm
This event is for women only.
Site will be open from 11am. Bar closes at 10pm.
Grass pitches. ITF approved Tag Rugby shorts /tights required.
