Schools and educational settings have a duty to safeguard the children in their care. Implementing safer recruitment practices is an important aspect of fulfilling this obligation. This one day workshop considers all aspects of safeguarding through recruitment and gives school staff recruiters the information and understanding they need to recruit safely and comply with relevant statutory guidance.

The programme includes full participation and group discussions. An assessment is included at the end of each session, so participants must be prepared to complete the whole day.
Participants will receive a record of attendance and a certificate confirming their performance during assessment.
The course is facilitated by the Lucy Faithfull Foundation and accredited by the Safer Recruitment Consortium.
