Have you always wanted to try watercolour… but didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you’ve had a go before and it just didn’t quite click?

Join us at The Craftery Beccles for a relaxed, welcoming and inspiring 4-week watercolour course, where you’ll learn how to truly understand this beautiful (and often misunderstood!) medium 🎨✨

This course is designed especially for complete beginners, as well as those who have “had a go” but want to build real confidence and finally feel in control of their paint, water and brushes.

✨ Over the 4 weeks you will explore:

🎨 Week 1 – Foundations & Techniques
We’ll start right at the beginning, getting to know all of our materials and how they work together (without it feeling confusing or overwhelming!).

From paints and brushes to all the little extras, I’ll guide you through it all in a really simple, relaxed way — sharing the tips and tricks I’ve learnt along the way that can really change how you see and work with watercolour 🎨✨

🌤️ Week 2 – Skies & Water
Create beautiful skies, soft clouds, glowing sunsets, and explore calm waters, reflections and movement.

🌿 Week 3 – Trees & Flowers
A fun, expressive session (and a firm favourite!) where you’ll learn to create loose, natural trees and florals.

🎨 Week 4 – Bringing It All Together
Combine everything you’ve learned into a final piece you can feel truly proud of.
