Step into the spotlight with our Adult Musical Theatre Bootcamp, a high-energy, feel-good experience designed for anyone who loves musicals! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer or singer, this workshop is all about having fun, moving freely, and embracing the magic of musical theatre.
The morning will be split into two sections - song and dance, followed by bringing it altogether to perform!
10.30-11.30am Learning the songs (with Jenna Fan)
11.45-12.45pm Learning the movement (with Jessica Faye)
12.45-1pm Bringing it Altogether.
In the first part of the workshop, we’ll focus on learning the vocal side of the musical theatre numbers. This will be a relaxed and supportive environment where everyone is welcome, including those with little or no previous singing experience.
We’ll start by breaking the songs down into manageable sections, learning melodies clearly and building confidence step by step. Once everyone is comfortable with the basics, we’ll begin to introduce simple harmonies and ensemble singing, focusing on timing, clarity and group cohesion.
Although this is a singing-focused session, we’ll also be mindful of the fact that the material will later be combined with choreography. This means we’ll explore how to support breath control stamina, and vocal delivery in a way that works alongside movement.
The emphasis is on learning the music in a way that feels achievable, fun and performance-ready, so that by the end of the session everyone feels confident singing their part as part of a larger stage routine.
We’ll finish the vocal section with a full run-through as a complete ensemble, ready for the dance team to take it forward into choreography and staging.
During the 1 hour of musical theatre dance training, you’ll learn choreography inspired by the iconic Grease Musical. The dance section focuses on performance quality, storytelling through movement, stage presence, and building confidence in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Expect upbeat routines, expressive movement, and plenty of encouragement as you develop coordination, musicality, and performance skills.
Perfect for adults who want to try something new, reconnect with performing, improve confidence, or simply enjoy the energy and joy of musical theatre.
Comfortable clothing that you can move in and jazz shoes or trainers, bottle of water.
